Our Philosophy

At SVRCC, we believe in holistic education, espousing the values of our guide and muse, Swami Vivekananda. We strive to blend academic rigour with the teaching of the philosophy of positive, healthy, joyful and purposeful living to our students.

Apart from the rigorous technical training provided, we endeavor to awaken the humanity within each student by involving them in our extensive community service activities, to inculcate the "spirit of giving back".

Apart from this, we also provide sports training and extra-curricular activities to keep students engaged and motivated in attending the institution. At SVRCC, we go the extra mile by engaging parents in productive dialogue with the institution to help them understand their children’s progress enabling both parents and children to maintain peaceful relations at home.

A Different Approach

Our Methodology

The one-year training is split into 9 months of conceptual training and 3-months of internship at one of our local industry partners. While this is the pedagogy followed, the curriculum for holistic education includes many softer components, like –

Love and Care

At SVRCC, we choose to accept students for who they are and seek to bring about a change in their perspective and embracing of a positive outlook on life.

Focus on the inner journey

We mandate yoga and meditation for all students at SVRCC as this helps students stay alert during the classes.

Soft Skills

We target the holistic growth and advancement of our students by teaching them essential and mandatory life and soft skills, to improve their personality.

Technical and practical training

The technical training comprises 3 months of internship with affiliated local industry partners, besides workplace and plant visits as required during conceptual training.

Community service and inclusivity

Service activities include visiting orphanages, old age homes and other such public service outfits, creating awareness for social issues, and pro-environment activities.

Final assessment and evaluation

Regular periodic internal assessment is done to assess learning levels and take corrective action. There is an annual examination. Courses registered with PMKVY also have NSDC-sponsored annual assessments.

Diversity and Inclusion

SVRCC promotes and appreciates diversity and inclusion in everything that it does. There is no discrimination on the basis of ethnicity, gender, age, disability, personality type, thinking style, sexual orientation, education or religion.
